Arma 2 Version

Howdy ya'll,
Due to issues we are having with 80% of our users, I would like to share a solution as well as state that we currently use the same Arma 2 version for each server. This issue is the infamous "Authentication Timeout" message. This issue is because of the new Steam patch that has issues/incompatibilities. Because of that, most servers have remained on a different version than the given Steam one. We are also going with this standard.
Current version for all Arma 2 and DayZ mod servers is 1.63.125548.
For those that need a refresher on updating Arma 2...
You have two options:
DayZ Commander:
1. Open DayZ Commander and go the install/update tab
2. Go to the version stated above.
3. Install and follow the instructions given
4. Rename the "arma2oa.exe" in the root \Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead to something else like "arma2oaOLD.exe" located in Steam's Common folder
5. Go the \Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\beta folder and copy the "arma2oa.exe" in the folder
6. Paste the "arma2oa.exe" from the expansions folder into \Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead
Manual:
1. Go the Arma 2 beta patch website http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php
2. Download the version listed above
3. Extract the compressed file and run the EXE given
4. Rename the "arma2oa.exe" in the root \Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead to something else like "arma2oaOLD.exe" located in Steam's Common folder
5. Go the \Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\beta folder and copy the "arma2oa.exe" in the folder
6. Paste the "arma2oa.exe" from the expansions folder into \Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead
7. Run Arma 2 OA via Steam. Disable any expansion settings in your startup parameters.
In the lower-right corner of the main menu, you will see the version number. If you see the version listed above, you did it correctly
If you are going to play Scouter's Armory, Deathmatch, or other vanilla Arma 2 OA gametype, this all you need to do; you can find the server in the game listings.
If you are joining DayZ mod server, the @DayZ addon should be enabled automatically upon joining.
If you are joining Overpoch, add -mod=@DayzOverwatch;@DayZ_Epoch; to your "Additional Launch Paramaters" location under settings in DayZ Commander.
