Steams time logs are not the most accurate things in the world

i know... it says i have 1 thousand overall cs hours... its ridiculous

I've been playing for 6 years and I have that much. It's accurate.

yeah what I was saying is my steam got messed up earlier this year and i had to re-install it. so most of the games on my profile are not installed now because it wiped them all. Also some of them don't make sense by the hours stated. For instance i know I played more then 40 some hours of Aion...

steam only started recording hours a few years ago...i dunno when exactly though.

My profile says I have played 2,947.5 hrs and my member join date of July 16, 2006. No way in hell is that total play time from just the past few years because I have been playing very little the last few years whereas a long time ago, especially back during beta and 1.1, I played for half a day some times lol.

If you add my total hours from the steam ID I had back from beta til it got jacked by some fgt kid then you could add about another 2000 hours to that lol.

I think it counts time once you have cs open, not actual playtime. It says I have 1,725.6 hrs played.
