I boughtzz a new headset, buttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt the microphone is not working in counterstrike for some reason, when i try testing it in like steam settings it works, but then I go into counterstrike and bam no beuno.

It would be stupid if they were shitty headphones, but they aren't. Obviously you can get a solid set of headphones for much less money as well.

The only time I use headphones are when I play cs, so I didn't spend that much. A pair of audio technica ath-ad700s are fine for me, along with the zalman clip mic.

I do use IEMs at work as well but they get kind of abused so I use cheap shit there too. I prefer speakers for everything else

Some of us like nice things, and spend our money on them.

Just like you I spent $30 on Shitty MkII's for about a year, bought a new one every 3months since they are so cheap and poorly made.

Then I wised up and bought a real pair of headphones, been using them for 2 1/2 years now, and if some thing breaks? Thats what warranties are for.

I will say it's not worth the money if all you play is CounterStrike 1.6 lol...

They are coming out with a 3.0 version that has inline mute on it later this year, hopefully shipping by November.

AD700s are only ~$100 and the zalman clip mic should be ~$10. Mine have been working great for years.

There is plenty of shitty stuff out there that isn't cheap, but Sennheiser does make a quality product.
