Hello! Do you like the custom armory maps that I make? I have made one for every map including Lingor. But I want to know what your guys' favorite armory map is; or what type of map that you would want. So take a vote from the following:
Chernarus-Like Areas:
Forest
Forest Mountains
Grass Fields/Farmland
Large City
Small, Scattered villages
Takistan, Zargabad Areas:
Near-Flat Desert
Large City
Small, Scattered villages
Big-Ass Mountains
Other Types:
Island(s)
Jungle
Sea
Snow
Note that all possible maps will have room to include all vehicles, plains and guns. Post what you would want. The most wanted type of area will have a lot of time put into it!
Also, Officers can not make polls in Arma 2 Catagory.

I know I already discussed this with you Scouter, but I'm just going to repeat it here so others can see it too.
The armory maps are definitely fun, but I feel like they are lacking some kind of structure. Most times when we play it follows the same formula; after about 5 minutes of checking out the vehicles someone usually starts attacking the spawn area, and after about 10-15 minutes someone basically nukes the whole airstrip and leaves 85% of the vehicles disabled, and then we usually restart. Adding the NPC's was a good step toward adding structure and objective, but maybe the enemies weren't close enough, which is why we all usually end up attacking each other instead of the NPCs.
What I think would be a ton of fun is a map that resembles your classic FPS deathmatch. If we could get like 5 or 10 people, spawn them at random places around Calamar/Elektro/Etc, have vehicles and weapon crates placed in strategic locations around the city, I think it could be quite entertaining.
This game-style is a lot closer to an ARMA II custom map than DayZ, but would be a nice change of pace for those nights when we are the only people roaming Lingor and can't find any action.
