Tips for a successful server [Must Read]

1. If you go in the server and there's nobody there, don't just leave.. wait for a couple of minutes, people WILL join.

2. Go through your friends list and copy/paste an invite message like "hey, come join this server" (trust me I get a lot of people to join this way)

3. If you're admin, entertain the people by doing fun polls, etc. Also, don't be quick to kick/ban people. Unless they're hacking or doing something completely unforgivable.

{IMPORTANT} 4. A lot of people leave the server because it goes to a map that requires them to download for a long time (like 2-6 min load) so record EVERY map that takes longer than 2 mins to download so they can eventually be deleted.

5. Also record maps that have lagging problems, bugs, etc

6. Don't taunt other players you do not know well. Don't be the kid that says "owned" or "your bad" every time he gets a kill.


{For Leaders} 7. Get that damage plug-in. Most fun servers have that, and a lot of people are requesting it. Also, if you find a good plug-in that can help the server, please get it.. like another good one is the TK punishment plug-in that allows other players to do specific punishments to someone that TK'ed them. I know FF is off, but maybe we should get that plug in AND then turn FF on? (but don't overwhelm the server with plug-ins)

YES the team killing punishment plugin is a MUST..... my friends would always search for servers that had that feature because it was so funny to make the guy that tked you a time bomb or a rocket or whatever
