hey i know this is off topic but for some reason console wont let me record a demo and instead sends me a message saying i have to be spawned on an acitve map on a machine to create files on csstrike or something like that. its been pissing me off since i want to get new binds of people talking in the game lol.

You didn't type anything oj. But yeah it should be "record 'whateveryouwanttocallit'".

*CS Video Settings:

*Screen Size:

*Delete "config.cfg" in cstrike folder

*Are you recording in windowed mode?

Make sure you are actually connected to a server. I get that message too if i try to make a demo Before entering a server
