To anyone still interested in DayZ,

David set up a private-hive Chernarus map. It has a sudo-debug monitor accessed by a hotkey, "h". It has a minimal amount of vehicles, at 85, including helicopters (and a biplane, first flown by moi, very nice). You start with no weapon. The DB is almost empty, so it is nice and fast right now; about 5 seconds total to load in. Come on in if you are still interested.
